Hanging like that is slow. There are a few vids on here of it on here. 5-10 min your "out" (supposedly) but not fully dead.  For sure not instantly though.

Some depressives will seek help. Some will accept the advice of their family and go on meds and see a doctor. These are people with 'Depression.' Then comes another type of depressive person who will not seek help nor respond to therapy even if on meds. This type will begin to isolate themselves, over sleep, drink, start cutting, stop doing what they used to enjoy doing, feel useless, feel they're a burden on others, constantly think about suicide, etc. These are the ones with 'Major/Clinical Depression.' Major depression hits hard and hits fast and can last for years. Usually though, it ends in suicide. Sad, but that's the way the dice roll. |

Not true at all  Ive been diagnosed with major depressive disorder. Therapy works verrrrrry well for MDD. Other things may hinder the effectiveness of therapy for it but just for depression, therapy works wonders for MDD and clinical depression. Thats why its the number 1 preferred method to deal with MDD and then meds (but like I said before SSRIs suck shit). I have been diagnosed since i was in middle school and even more so in the past year or so due to my PTSD.
