Indonesia - Woman Drowned when Car Fell into a Lake
On the afternoon of 31st April 2021 in Sumatra (Indonesia), 32 year old D.M. lost her life. A car with 4 people inside fell into a lake. Employees at the harbour tied a rope to the car in the hope of pulling it out, but the vehicle was too heavy. Eventually, 76 year old H.Z.T, 72 year old H.J.F. + 33 year old N.S. were successfully rescued. However, 'D' had been submerged underwater for around 15 minutes, so had no chance of survival. 'D' was buried next to her father.

did her seatbelt keep her submerged too long? I would think she would have be able to push up to the front seat where the other 2 were able to survive had it not been for a seatbelt

Maybe try some sensible shoes for the car lifting business .. more flip flops or bare feet no one the thing was too heavy ..geesh

~ The ferry was leaving but they decided to risk driving onto it. So Stupid! ~ People tried to help by holding on to the car so it wouldn't fall in the water. Failed! |
