Jakarta, CNN Indonesia - The explosion allegedly occurred at the Makassar Cathedral, on Sunday (28/3) morning.

Armin Hari, one of the witnesses at the location, when interviewed by Kompas TV confirmed the incident.

"The roar, the distance from the Cathedral to Kimia Farma is one kilometer, yes, it sounds (big)," he said, passing by on a motorbike not far from the location.

Armin also admitted that he saw broken glass from vehicles around the site.

"Some shouted bombs and there were some restaurant waiters whose clothes had blood stools," he added.

Until this news was published, there was no official statement from the police about the explosion.

It's always difficult to live in Indonesia as an minority. As a Catholic, our family often gets bad behavior from Muslims here who always want to win and don't want to give in. Some were even jailed for complaining about the sound of the mosque speakers being too loud and noisy.

The perpetrator is thought to be an Indonesian who lives in Malaysia and is also a member of the ISIS.

Two suspected suicide bombers blew themselves up outside a Catholic church in the Indonesian city of Makassar today, wounding fourteen people on the first day of the Easter Holy Week, the country’s national police said.

“There were two people riding on a motorbike when the explosion happened at the main gate of the church — the perpetrators were trying to enter the compound,” National Police spokesman Argo Yuwono said.

“The bike was destroyed and there are body parts… We’re still collecting parts and trying to identify the sex of the perpetrators.”

Police said a church security guard tried to prevent the motorbike from entering the compound when the blast occurred.

Hope they make it all through. A big fat fail suicide attack.
