Indian Man Dismembered Woman, Stuffed Remains in Fridge, Then Hanged Himself
Near Bengaluru, Karnataka state, India, the dismembered remains of 29-year-old Mahalakshmi was found in a refrigerator inside her flat. Her body has been dismembered into at least thirty pieces. Police identified a 31-year-old man, Muktirajan Pratap Ray - who worked at the same mall as his victim - as the prime suspect. He had been seen with his laptop bag in the village at around 4am, and was seen departing the scene on a two-wheeler. Mahalakshmi had recently separated from her husband. A few days later, Muktirajan was found to have hanged himself in Bhadrak, Odisha. A suicide note was found, in which Muktirajan admitted to having killed and dismembered Mahalakshmi.
