Igor Luiz and Nicole Pimentel Shot Dead in Angra dos Reis, Brazil 2018
On the morning of Wednesday, July 11, 2018, Igor Luiz and Nicole Pimentel, both 22, were discovered dead from gunshot wounds on the road leading to the Green Coast condominium in the Pontal neighbourhood of Angra dos Reis, in the Costa Verde area of Rio de Janeiro state, Brazil. Each had been shot multiple times, including in the face. Press reports said they were probably killed elsewhere before being left at the location. The Civil Police began investigating the case as a double homicide. Two days later, the state tip line Disque Denuncia publicly sought information to identify those responsible, the clearest indication that no suspect was known. No arrest has been reported since. Her surname was initially given as Gomes, although regional press and Disque Denuncia published it as Pimentel.      |

What happened? So sad to see young lives snuffed out. Man...life is so unpredictable. Their parents are going to be grief stricken. I'll throw them in my prayers this evening.
