Legal reasons. Because of the gore character of this site the pointing (at crushed heads etc.) is pretty pointless (!). But the pointers point also at minor damage, bullet holes, suspects (and other things hardly of interest on this site). Simply part of their job at the crime/accident scene (apart from picking up bits and pieces of human remains). Pictures are used for police investigations, for insurance purposes and in court. It IS funny though. I think these guys meet up in the pub at the end of the day and ask each other, what did you point at today? |
