In the early hours of Friday, Dec 05, a couple was murdered.
The victims were a woman (43) and her husband (29).

They were travelling down a street where they were approached by 3 elements in a VW, who fired several shots at the couple.

The elements went away and minutes later returned to the site and placed the woman into the car and fled with her.

The husband was rescued by the ambulance crew and taken to the Hospital where he died later on as the woman was found dead at some other site further along the road. She was shot dead and stoned.

Friends of both said they were good people. The Civil Police is now investigating the case and worries about the explosion of violence in that area in recent days.

This was the second woman killed in less than a week and the overall sum 15 have been killed this year.

This was the 7th homicide of December and the 128th in 2014 in this part of Brasil.
