She did it wrong. Hanging is not painful for very long; slit wrists are -- but she was likely unconscious from hanging so I guess that's moot. Secondly, horizontal cuts are relatively inefficient; vertical is a one-way ticket -- also moot since she likely died first from hanging. In any case, I've never understood why people kill themselves.

A good case of clinical depression (and not even a worst case scenario), even for a couple of months, would give you a very clear understanding. Hopefully, you'll be spared this. I'm surprised this doesn't happen more often. |
