These hangings that are within range of simply standing up to stop it really baffle me. You would think one would change their mind upon feeling pain?  |

Could have been a slow and painful death by suffocation, since the pressure on the neck seemed not sufficient to completely block the blood flow in the artery (resulting in a purple face).
