Human Foot on Banks of a Pond, Sock Intact
On Tuesday afternoon, October 10, 2017, at around 3:00 p.m., military officers from the 14th BPM of Foz do Iguaçu were called to move to Monjolo Park, because, according to information, the banks of the lake there would be a human foot. For the site was sent an RPA (Radio Patrol Auto) being verified the veracity of the complaint, being the place isolated until the arrival of the Civil Police (Homicide Police), Police Science (Crime) and Legal Medical Institute. With the arrival of the competent organs, the human foot was sent to the IML morgue. Next to the foot was found some hospital bags. Residents would have commented that in the lake an alligator is seen frequently sunbathing, and the foot is a few meters from the shore the pond, there being the suspicion that one was found a foot, where the other foot would be and even the rest of the body. |

Looks like it could be “hospital/medical hazardous waste” bags and that looks like gauze wrapped around the foot. I suspect it’s medical related “waste” and not the work of an alligator.

Good forensics should reveal an explanation.
