Re: How to Dig a Grave
My mate does that for a living and he says its ok untill you do what they call a reopener, where they re dig a grave to bury the wife on her huband or vice versa and your foot goes through the lid of the coffin, the smell is something you never forget.

Re: How to Dig a Grave
what can i say...? when i saw how you loved your work, i thought "what am i complaining about my work? mine is easier compared to what you do yet you still manage to love your honest work." you're an inspiration to the other honest, hardworking people in DR... great job... |

Re: How to Dig a Grave
digging up a new grave is hard enough. i cant imagine how digging up a previous grave would come easier... keep it up with honor and integrity. don't do any grave robbing ok? unless you get something that would fit my fingers and wrists, then you call me... just kidding. keep it honest always and you'll always have our respects.

Re: How to Dig a Grave
I worked for a mortuary here in the US for a number of years back in the 70's and 80's. I helped put a lot of people in that time, but your pictures are still novel to me because we don't "recycle" graves here. Once somebody is interred, it generally requires some not too easy to obtain legal orders to exhume them for any reason. I understand that in France, and the rest of Europe, graves are used over and over with the bones stored in ossuaries or catacombs.
