Re: Houston: Pedestrian Killed by Speeding Corvette.
All of you assholes defending the driver and how "dont walk out in front of a car" can fuck off. You dont know the details. Hang that driver and burn his car.

Re: Houston: Pedestrian Killed by Speeding Corvette.
most places have these areas - they are loud, they are busy and they are dangerous . . . hence why pedestrians need to take more care when crossing the road than out on a country road did he? maybe so, but most probably not; most accidents are due to inattention since we are on the hypothetical crap. let's assume for a moment that the pedestrian miraculously survived. with months and possibly years of painful rehabilitation, do you think he would take solace in the fact that, although he is in immense pain, and his life is irreversibly changed, that he was legally in the right . . . i didn't either i'm not - i am merely suggesting that there is "always" something we can do better in any given situation. perhaps you like playing the victim, but i prefer to figure out ways to make myself safe and out of trouble with rogue cops or speeding fools i only wish. i'd love to be behind the wheel of one of those bad boys, cruising the highways and feeling the hum of the engine. unfortunately i've been stuck in this shit job for so long i'll never afford one, so i just sit behind the desk and dream. |
