Re: Horrendous Practices During Forensic Examinations at Indian Government Hospital
dude, India is one savage fucking country. They've got a lot of work to do before being considered on a level with the US. And yet, lots of history and tradition there, would like to visit. Pakistanis are almost the same as indians except that they are very violent and like to blew shit up and host the occasional Al Qaeda member. One thing about this young man in the first pic who forgot his undies apparently: I'm amazed by how much fatty tissue he has on him whereas he's pretty skinny. That is, unless rats already got to him from the inside and literally sucked him in, making him appear thin. Is that too far-fetched? probably. I'll shut the fuck up

Yes, actually going to the country would give you at least some perspective on how it runs. It isn't 'savage' at all. It is backwards, undeveloped in many parts, but also incredibly wealthy. At one point in history it was the wealthiest country on the planet, and the only place diamonds were to be found. But then the Brits moved in and gouged and fucked the place dry, to finance two world wars, numerous private fortunes, and half their empire...... |

Just lay them on the deck and cut away.. I would never expect them India to have modern day facilities to do such task like this. They just dont have the cash.. Its easier to hire unskilled labor and perpetrate that they are certified PhD's that can do the autopsy.. |

Re: Horrendous Practices During Forensic Examinations at Indian Government Hospital
India is one of the oldest civilizations in the world, for a long time they were ahead of the rest of the world. But they have been steadily going backwards and the cause is over regulation. It can take years, and piles of paperwork and many bribes to get the many licenses and permits needed to open a simple street side kiosk to sell souvenirs or sundries. To open a company to do manufacturing or research would be almost impossible for all but the richest and most connected people. Any company that did not want competition could stop the issue of permits for anyone else with a bribe or two. In this environment progress is dead, why invest in research and development when it's so much cheaper to simply block any competition and keep selling the same product you have been making for the last 40 years. |

Re: Horrendous Practices During Forensic Examinations at Indian Government Hospital
An guess who started all that paperwork and regulation drama. Yes, the good old British Raj. I've been in customs and immigration offices in several big city ports of India and seen the rooms full of great piles of dusty paperworks, stretching back decades, all carefully filed away. They'll never been looked at again, but the system says they have to be kept, and nobody is changing anything soon.... |
