September 12 2008, Carolin Stenvall, 29, was murdered by an alcoholic hunter, Toni Allden, 51, during the elk hunting season in northern Sweden. They met at a parking by a highway and she must've said something that ticked him off. She was assaulted with a blunt object and then shot twice with a hunting rifle. Before the arrest of the killer he spent weeks trying to hide his tracks. He drove the body 90km from the place of the murder, tried to burn the body, hid blood tracks by pouring diesel on them, sabotaged the rifle he used and got rid of the bloodstained car mats. He was convicted to life in prison. |
