I don't think this was a rape. She has pink shorts on, and I doubt the murderer took the time to put her pants back on after raping her before running away  Poor girl living on a piece of cardboard and is killed in her sleep  |

"More than likely raped her first" For some reason, I feel that's what you're hoping for. There is clearly no sign of rape and it's rather sickening that it was the first thing that came to your mind. That being said, living on the streets is very dangerous no matter where it's at. Some are worse than others, but the streets at night are a completely different world. I live in a small town in the states and we have incidents like this one from time to time. The homeless, prostitutes and addicts are usually prime targets for murder because they are considered "lessers". Their life means almost nothing to society and when one of them dies, every one just shrugs their shoulders and says, "Oh well". And that, alone, is the reason why they are targets. Investigations rarely happen. Unless there is actual footage of the murder or concrete proof, nothing is done. That's how serial killers has such high numbers. You hear of serial killers killing 30+ prostitutes. Because no one cares. And, eventually, the killer usually makes a mistake that leads to his arrest and capture. Most of them have no family and no friends so no one really even knows they are missing. It is sad, but it is entirely true. This is one fucked world and I hope we are all decimated soon so that a new life may begin that doesn't make the same mistakes we have made. |
