Home Invasion Ends with Multiple Murders.
A wave of violence that terrorizes the population of polo clothing seems to have no end. Last night (11/04) at around 23h45, at a residence in Guava subdivision in the city of Strands, four young men were executed in a crime unprecedented in the history of this town, where among the victims was a teenager 14 years of age. According to preliminary information, two unknown men identified the house and started shooting the victims who was inside, then entered the residence and executed the other victims. One victim had already been involved in various crimes among them armed robberies and homicides in the city of Santa Cruz do Capibaribe reportedly. The other victims are the was the girlfriend of him. All the bodies were taken to the morgue.

Re: Home Invasion Ends with Multiple Murders.
This is why my contributions have dropped by more than 75% over the past few years. More and more sites are watermarking their images, including many reliable sites that did not used to do so. We lose out on a LOT of content on this site due to the watermarking rules. I have said many times before and will say again now that I loathe this rule and have for the two years that it has been in effect. I vaguely understand its purpose, but think it is poorly applied. I understand clearly why chris does not want watermarks for other gore/shock sites on here. But I do NOT understand (nor agree with) his hardline stance on removing the actual watermarks of the sites/photographers who take and post these images in the first place. Removing the watermarks is (in some locales) illegal and, in my opinion, very unethical. Credit should be given to the people who are out there up to their balls in blood and brains to get these photos. How does it hurt THIS site if the Mexican or Brazilian photographer's watermark is visible? Or the watermark of the legitimate news agency that employs him? Blah. I get on this soapbox once or twice a year because I think the rule is detrimental to this site and to the people who work to get these images. But whatever. Chris pays to keep the site running, so I believe in following his rules. I'm just putting out there that this site would see TWICE as many images if he'd limit the 'watermark restriction' to the short list of 'rival' gore sites instead of ALL watermarks in general. |
