I remember seeing a picture like this and it said that the guy ( not this guy I don't think) was shooting of some high powered fire works and they went off when he was leaning over the metal pipe that he was shooting it out of.

( I'm not completely sure as to whether this is true or not but I read some where that this was the result of him being dared to light off a fire cracker ( a fire cracker that he mistakenly believed to be pretty weak ) while it was in his mouth. Now, someone could have just been fucking around when they wrote that. However, there are other photos of this guy out there, with one of them taken from the opposite angle you can see that he has a cigarette lighter in his right hand. Which would certainly fit with the story of him lighting off a fire cracker so who knows, it may be true.  |

I've seen this on another site, said he commited suicide by lighting a M100 firecracker in his mouth. I don't know if that's true but that was the story on the other site(:
