Hit by Lightning
I've noticed hit by lightning pics are rare here. This one is from Peru. Fisherman hit. Appears to have a depressed skull fracture from the bolt and melted hair.

No wonder they are rare: Odds of being struck in your lifetime (Est. 80 years) = 1/13,000 Odds of being struck in a given year (estimated total deaths + injuries) = 1/1,042,000 Not his luckiest day... Thanks for the post  |

These are from Brazil. Sequence was taken by a photographer at the beach in Guarujá during a storm. First picture shows woman in bikini yelling at her husband and son to get out of water due to storm. Second picture is her getting hit by lightning bolt behind the truck. Third picture is her being pulled up the beach by rescuers. Happened in 2014.

I went to school with a dude who was, by all accounts, struck twice by lightening.
