The first deadly act occurred around 05:00 hours in Acapulco, on the “Miguel Alemán” pacific coast highway, at the height of the “Papagayo” park. An unidentified male was gunned down inside his Volkswagen.

A few hours later, in Taxco, another male was found lifeless, presumably due to gun shots, on a dirt road that goes from Texcaltitla to Mil Cascadas. The male was only identified as a worker in the tourism sector.

Half an hour later, at 09:00, back in Acapulco, a young man was found dead with traces of torture. The body was face down with a shirt over it’s head and was hand tied through the back. The discovery took place in the community of El Quemado.

Still in Acapulco, in the evening, a male and a female were gunned down in Ciudad Renacimiento. The murders took place on Hermenegildo Galeana by at least one gunman. While paramedics were performing procedures, family members of the victims removed the bodies from the scene claiming that the expenses of the medical forensics center were abnormally expensive; thus opting to not send them there. Through unofficial commentary, one of the deceased was linked with “El Robavacas”, detained back in January.

Throughout the day, another body was found Executed in Coyuca de Catalán. The body was found in the community of Las Tinajas.

In the early hours of Sunday, a male was gunned to death in Coyuca de Benitez. The body was reported around 03:00 on Cuauhtémoc street.
