If done correctly, suicide by helium mask is, perhaps, the most efficient way to shortcut one's spiritual journey. It's a comfortable way to die because the human body breathes helium like oxygen. Organs fail from lack of oxygen but the central nervous system doesn't alert the brain that anything is awry. Without a regulator, however, he merely suffocated himself like anyone can do with any plastic bag. Good helium gone to waste.

Yes, that poor woman. It was extremely selfish of him to do this to his family. I don’t claim to know what it’s like to be suicidal, but I’m sure he was not in the right frame of mind to think of others. The entire situation is just tragic.
