Yea that looks like a needle in his hand. He was most likely shooting up, the blood came out of the arm he shot up in I think.

For this site thats a pretty short sighted comment. More people than you think have had battles with addiction, some are just luckier than others. Some are worse humans than others, of this there is no doubt. But a few bad apples shouldn't be indicative of the whole orchard, so to speak.

I know too many and I've dealt with too much. A heroin addict ruined a big part of my life by stealing, lying. . . well it doesn't matter. I know what happened and that's my opinion. I have personal experience-too personal-with junkies and I hate them all. They CHOSE to stick the needle in their arm. They CHOSE to steal and lie. They CHOSE to ruin their lives and the lives of those around them, so why the fuck feel bad for them? I sure don't.

Same thing for me that shit ruined my uncles life too, but the way i see it he put the needle in his own arm so i would feel the same way if the same would of happen to my uncle. Luckily hes doing much better  |

Looks to me like he also has a broken neck, due to the position of his head resting on his chest, way to far down for his cervical spine to still be intact.
