En la noche de ayer, un hombre de entre 30 y 40 años de edad fue arrollado en la Ruta Nacional Nº 16 a la altura del kilómetro 132 por un automovilista que se dirigía hacia la capital chaqueña.
El terrible accidente se produjo alrededor de las 20:20 en la Ruta Nacional Nº 16 con intersección de la Ruta Provincial Nº 10.
Según fuentes oficiales y en circunstancias que se tratan de establecer, el peatón identificado como Eulogio Espinosa, domiciliado en Parque Industrial Nº 2 , al parecer intentó cruzar la cinta asfáltica sin advertir que en ese momento transitaba por la ruta nacional, el automóvil marca VW VENTO 1.9 quien era conducido por Fernando Luís Lavenas (46) domiciliado en la ciudad de Presidencia Roque Sáenz Peña.
Lavenas, un reconocido abogado de la ciudad termal, transitaba por la ruta nacional y al llegar a la intersección mencionada, embistió al peatón que quedó sobre la cinta asfáltica decapitado y el rodado quedó a casi cien metros del cuerpo arrollado y a unos ciento cincuenta metros de la intersección con la ruta provincial, lugar donde se habría producido la colisión con el patón, en el rodado, del lado del acompañante, fue encontrado el cráneo del occiso.
En el lugar actuaron el Gabinete Científico de Presidencia Roque Sáenz Peña y Bomberos Voluntarios de Machagai, conjuntamente con la policía local.
Posteriormente la Magistratura en turno ordenó la entrega del rodado, mientras prosigue la causa denominada “Supuesto Homicidio en accidente de tránsito” en tanto que el cuerpo del occiso fue entregado a los familiares para los fines póstumos.
A man, 30 to 40 years old, was ran over yesterday night (September 2nd) at Kilometer 132 of the national route 16 by a driver heading to Resistencia, capital of Chaco province.
The terrible accident happened around 8:20 PM in the intersection of route 16 with provincial route 10.
According to official sources, the pedestrian, who was identified as Eulogio Espinosa from Parque industrial 2, tried to cross the route while a VW Vento 1.9 was passing through, driven by Fernando Luis Lavenas, 46, from Presidencia Roque Saenz Peña.
Lavenas, a well known lawyer, was traveling the aforementioned route when he ran over the pedestrian who ended laying beheaded 150 meters from the intersection, where the collision occurred. In the vehicle, on the passenger side, the head of the deceased was found.
Forensics from Presidencia Roque Sáenz Peña proceeded to the site with volunteers of the Machagai fire department and local police.
Later, the court ordered the release of the car, while the case for "alleged homicide in accident" follows its course, and the body of the victim was released to the family for burial.
The driver already has a lawyer... this is not going to end well...
It is said that the car was over a hundred meters from the body. Do the math. He went through a major intersection at that speed. Even if the other guy was inebriated and crossing carelessly (most likely scenario), the speed was too high. Lights could be another factor.
