You may well be right. I find it hard to translate even using translation apps. If you put Bala nos bala in it comes up as bullet in bullet, or bullet in the bullet, if you put nos in it comes up as us or we. It says Bala na casa is a criminal faction, but I couldn't find anything to show that's the name of them, and the translation is bullet in the face, or bullet face. But i'd go with it being revenge, like you said.
I might be mistaking, but there's no way in hell that was a random murder. That was someone trying to say "Don't fuck with us..."

What is with all the guns?
These pics were posted on a FB account like it was done by the victim himself and according to police it's done as intimidation/warning when it comes to who's the boss when it comes to drug trafficking in town. It was a message to one of the most active gangs in the metropolitan area, police said.
The guns shown is also a sort of intimidation.

The phrases "Traveling to hell" and "bullet in the bullet, goes nowhere" were written in the images.

Brutal crime, wonder why the head was in a box as i know of more shocking ways to display a head for intimidation.
