Re: Harrowing Beheading Screencap
No videos. They started too early. Too bad. There was lots of good stuff. You've got your Crusades, your heretic executions, your witch burnings and hangings, your Inquisition, your Thirty Years War in the 16th Century, during which Catholics and Protestants slaughtered one another with such enthusiasm that one-third of Germany's population was wiped out. You've got your Conquistadors slaughtering the Incas. And, well, it just goes on and on.

Exactly. This has always been a brutal world. We just happen to be living in a moment where we can see such images, sometimes as they are happening, from the comfort of our own couch. Sure has a different impact than reading about it in a book. |

Re: Harrowing Beheading Screencap
Well I guess that excuses radical Islam. No need to criticize. After all, Christianity is just as bad. Right? Only a moron and a moral invert would conclude that Islam and Christianity are equal. |
