Your grandma was an amazing woman to survive that.

My uncle was in a POW camp over there and the only thing he talked about was how they would hang people on meat hooks until they died. He never got over that.

the first part, the second is russian (or sth. else, polish maybe), and the first part was translated.
i bet the second part says exactly the same, it's only written in another language.
