Hanging Belarusian Partisans in Minsk (Belarus, USSR)
Three supporters of Belarus (one woman and two men) were hanged by the Nazis on the Place Komarovskaya, Minsk (Belarus, USSR) on 10/26/1941. The woman was found hanged as Elena Ostrovskaya (she was a seamstress and lived in Minsk). Two men (one of them was a Jew) have not been identified so far.
Elena apparently tried to preserve the young Jewish man in his apartment and was arrested by the Nazis and hanged in public.

Does anyone know if their necks broke. Looks like one or two might have? Or is it no high enough to break their necks.

Doesnt look like they dropped... the Nazi scum had a habit of letting you choke to death it's more intimidating to the spectators that way.
