A student of the Elementary School Teacher Education (PGSD) Study Program at Manado State University (Unima) with the initials Evia M.M, 22 years old, from Siau, was found hanged in her boarding room in the Kaaten area, Tomohon City, North Sulawesi this morning.

The victim, an eighth-semester student at Unima's Faculty of Education and Psychology, was found hanging in her boarding room. She was alone at the time, as her fellow boarders had returned to their hometowns.

The body was removed by local police for further examination, including an autopsy. Police have secured the scene and are still investigating the chronology of events.

At the location, police found a statement dated December 16, 2025, addressed to the Dean of the Faculty of Education and Psychology at Unima, Dr. Aldjon N. Dapa, M.Pd.

The letter contained a complaint of alleged sexual harassment by a lecturer named Danny A. M, SP., M.Pd.
