A French woman, about 30 years old, was found hanging next to Kampot canal in Cambodia just a few hours ago. No further confirmed info. EDIT Initial reports seemed to get the nationality wrong. The victim was actually a 27-year-old Italian woman, G.T.  ·  ·  ·  ·  · |

Please delete if it's a repost. I'm almost sure i've seen this case here, but I can't retreive it and is relatively recent, so maybe I'm wrong. Happened july 20 2023 in India, but the dead woman is from Kyrgystan. She was in Raipur, India, as a tattoo artist. The reason why go there as a tattoo artist, the article don't say. Seems she was dating a local boyfriend. She sent a whatsapp video of the noose to her boyfriend, asking him to send the report of her death to her hometown, and then hung herself in her balcony. Her feet position, joined frontward, is very weird, never saw this before in a hanging. Also, seems the noose was pretty low by the picture of the whatsapp video, and seems she died with her legs literally on the floor. I wonder how she could die so peacefully this way, because her neck couldn't break and she probably just strangled to death. But for take the "risk" to hang so low, instead of hanging from something upper like a fan (there is many in India ), seems she had some knowledge about hangings and knew she would pass out quickly, and it worked well because she seems really peaceful, died without suffering and not even peed on herself.A few pictures are available unfortuntely. If you have more, don't hesitate to post. Excepted the ID card, I don't have more pictures of her alive. Her death pictures were hard to find too, only a picture showing the face and a part of her upper body was available uncensored, so I used a picture merging software for combine this picture and the different pictures of her lower body that I could find, for have a full hanging picture.
