He was depressed for over 2 months and waited for his nephew to fall asleep before going going to the back room of the house and hanged himself using a nylon cord and jumped from a table.  |

I think what is below his tongue is a stick that he must have been chewing on. I would have done the same thing look at where he lived in an old shack. Imagine when it is cold.
