Most people that hang themselves have no idea how to do it right. There are lot of pics where we see a standing or overturned chair, but the victim is hanging with their feet on the ground and knees bent. Why? Because of improper estimation how long the rope should be. Body and neck do some stretch, the noose digs in, and the victim lands on her tiptoes. Worst case scenario is when the noose pressure is enough to close the downstream, but let the blood go upstream. The victim will pass out anyways, but painfully from blood pooling in her head, with her face swollen and blue, and with blood dripping from her nose. Brave way here is to bend her knees and let the noose do the job quickly. She may also reach the ground with her heels and little to no pressure to the neck at all.  |
