The newspaper definitely reported it as a hanging. Supposedly she was 16 and separated from her husband and child; found hanged alone in her apartment. The Mexican news agencies are certainly as prone to error as our American ones, but they absolutely reported it as a suicidal hanging. |

What is this yellow thing that is under her shoulders in the first pic, and wrapped around her neck in the second one? Ligature? Or some morgue device to keep her head straight?

16 years old. Brazil. Hung herself on Halloween in a rented room at a bar. Sorry about the facial censoring, it came from the source material and I couldn't locate any unaltered copies.
