Death due to sexual asphyxia occurs when either the victim miscalculates the already induced state of hypoxia coupled with the time required to achieve orgasm through masturbatory activity, the malfunction of the mechanical apparatus used to induce hypoxia, or the failure of the self rescue device. This results in a subsequent loss of consciousness followed by death due to cerebral anoxia.  · |
