r0tten has the main of it. We all prefer to keep this thread dedicated mostly to photos instead of rehashed discussion, since it is so long and cumbersome already. And I do tend to get grumpy when asked to explain biological functionality that I have already explained in detail many times in the thread. But since you're new here, some slack. The short answer is yes. Partial or total bladder voiding is almost a sure thing in hanging deaths. If you don't see piss stains, then chances are the decedent either pissed right before hanging, didn't piss enough to soak through the fabric, was photographed in such a way as to obscure urine stains, or had been hanging long enough that the piss dried before photography. If you want a longer explanation, follow r0tten's advice and search this thread for the relevant keywords. Several pages have been dedicated to this issue. |
