The carnage and brutality continued unabated in several key parts of Mexico. In the heart of narco country in the state of Sinaloa was a recent example of the level of brutality.
In La Trinidad a man was abducted from his home, where several sicarios wounded him with gunfire. Several hours later the dismembered body of the man was found in the road Juan S. Millan in Guasave. The torso was nude and the decapited head had his fingers inside his mouth. A narco banner was found near the remains that translated to something related to this:
This is going to happen to all who are spreading rumors giving information to Chombi Chemo Garcia Lemo Nunes and corrupt elite military with them for exchange for money. We will go after the next who put the finger (rat) that are supposed to be very protected. Message to Viejon: Traitor punks who do not lose their bad manners in La Trinidad, this is going to happen to Los Lemos Nunes Chemo Garcia Rulis and to all Los Chombis."
The victim was identified as Refugio Nestor Vasquez Lugo, 46 years old, who was a butcher by profession.
