In mid-December 2022, authorities had not yet identified a woman whose body was left on a roadside in Barangay Sta. Ines, Bacolor, Pampanga, in the Philippines. Her hands were cuffed, and her back bore a tattoo characterized as an illuminati design. After a resident of Zone 3 Sukol notified police, the officers who arrived sought the public's assistance in determining her identity. Accounts issued on December 18 and 19, 2022 placed the discovery on the prior Saturday, indicating December 17. A separate date of December 15 was given with a police report cited. Published accounts provided no cause of death and reported no arrest. An unconfirmed Facebook comment was the basis for the claim that the victim was a Vietnamese woman who had been kidnapped for ransom; that allegation could not be confirmed and was unsupported by the reporting.
