I did hear the tape a long, long time ago. Maybe in the 80s when the media was more fast and loose about these matters. It was thought to be more matter of fact. It sounded like something out of a horror movie. Unreal! I dont think i knew much about the case at yhe time.

so glad CSI technology has made a huge dent in serial killer fukks in society. 70s to 90s were primetime for serial killers.

In the late 70s there was no death penalty. But that's no longer true and we do execute people now in California.
