On 4th January 2022 in Antigua (Guatemala), 20 year old A.C. lost her life in a road accident.

'A' was riding pillion on a motorbike with 21 year old C.E.V. A car hit them from behind, sending them crashing into a barrier. 'A' was killed instantly + 'C' suffered minor injuries.

All we see here on DR, are motorcycles running into things, or things running into motorcycles, or motorcycles going head-on into a truck, or cars running over motorcycles, or motorcyclists hitting a pothole and going head-on into a car or a telephone pole, or even a horse or a mule, or drug guys shooting guys on motorcycles, or drug guys on motorcycles shooting someone else, or motorcycles dumping their riders and taking off down the road.
(Not like Asia, where they head off riderless for a tasty noodle bowl) or motorcyclists hitting a pole, (But I HAVEN'T seen any Central American motorcyclists ever really hitting a Pole!) or any other permutation of motorcycle death and dismemberment. The end result must be THOUSANDS of scrap motorcycles every year. I bet if you stacked them all up, a suicidal jumper would leap off the 23rd story of a building, and just land on a pile of motorcycles, only falling 2 feet max, and just hurting his leg. Then his friends would make fun of him and give him shit every day for not being able to commit suicide by jumping, until finally he wraps himself in cheese and a rubber diving suit, and inhales propellant from a whip-cream can, and finally dies.
But there would STILL be a huge pile of busted motorcycles stacked up next to his high-rise.
