Yeah the eyes loose fluid from the decomposition and dehydration. Actually a common thing for folks that have been in the freezer a while. Normally a injection of fluid will round them puppies out again. Or you could use eye caps or cotton and work with that.... My advice... cremation would save a lot of time there.
