Right. As a parent of a US Infantry soldier, I'd be all for pulling all troops out of all foreign lands and stopping ALL foreign aid in any way. The rest of the world hates us, so fuck the rest of the world. Let them solve their own problems and we can concentrate on solving ours. America has sacrificed the lives of hundreds of thousands of troops in foreign wars, and for what? We've given hundreds of billions, if not trillions (adjusted dollars) in foreign aid over the years and for every friend we buy, we make five enemies. I say fuck everybody and let's start looking out for ourselves. I'd rather listen to non-Americans whine about how we don't help than hear them bitch about how we do. |
