It was neither illegal nor immoral for American (and Allied) troops to invade Iraq, depose its dictator who openly gassed his own people among other atrocities, and liberate the people of Iraq so that they could form a democracy. To date, ZERO Iraqi oil has been commandeered to US soil or bank accounts. Yes, the war was mishandled at several junctures which contributed to a bloody civil war that has been going on for centuries between Sunni and Shiite Muslims; but the average, moderate Muslim citizen who risks his or her life going to the polls for a shot at some real freedom for the first time in a millennium has the U.S.A. and Great Britain to thank for it.
