That's because your definition of 'sexual remarks' is egregiously broad. Calling a high school age girl 'a fine babe' may be a bit vulgar and socially inappropriate in some societies (bear in mind that 15 is LEGAL for sex in more than half the world, including this girl's home country), but it does not constitute a sexual remark and it certainly doesn't constitute child porn.

Your efforts in posting content here are earnestly appreciated as I have told you, but you need to chill out on this 'anti-paedo' crusade you're waging and let the Mods here do their jobs, alright? When we feel someone has crossed a line, we adjudicate accordingly. If YOU feel someone has crossed a line, you may use the Report function instead of derailing the thread further with these rants and arguments. We read all of the reports here. If you do not notice action being taken it is because the Staff determined that no rules were being broken.
Please relax and go back to posting news stories and content. You are very good at it, so stop wasting your time getting all worked up about remarks that aren't even borderline.

Not 15 year old teens. That girl is about 4 or 5 years past being of interest to ANY actual paedophile. You may disagree, but science does not. Further, this girl was past the legal age of consent in the area where she lived, just for reference. Still not appropriate to make sexual remarks about her on this site. But SEXUAL remarks are more specific than you are allowing for.

Vedderman, I understand what you're saying but as you may have noticed, the way people on here talk about children (+ that is what they are) sickens me + it shouldn't be allowed. Whatever the age of consent in whatever country, civilised people who are way older than these children, should not even think of them as sexual beings, it's vile.

Anyway, I did promise Sharon that I wouldn't go ranting again + I have managed to hold it in to some extent. I'll try harder to rein it in next time but these comments really should not be allowed on here + nor should the sickos who think like that.

While I may personally agree with you on certain points, please understand that on a site like this we get ALL kinds of weirdos. Therefore we are a bit more permissive of personality quirks than many other sites might be.

That said, we take the issue of child abuse extremely seriously here. And if we, as the Staff, believe for any reason that a child is in danger from a predatory poster because of something said on this site, we can and do take appropriate action, including reporting their ISP to their local law enforcement.

But understand that there are a lot of oddball personalities on here. A lot of trolls. A lot of Edgelords. A lot of perverts and deviants of all stripes and degrees. And we are not 'thought police', making moral judgments on what people do in their own heads.

When they get disruptive to the flow of posting here or if we feel they are making dangerous remarks, action is taken. Our definition of what warrants action clearly differs from yours, but the site tends to run fairly smoothly, so I think we're doing alright with it.

Just have a little faith that we're all interested in keeping children from harm here and that such considerations are rationally balanced against promoting a free atmosphere where folks are comfortable talking or laughing about some really uncomfortable shit like dead bodies smeared all over the ground.
