that reminds me of an episode of CSI las vegas I saw the other day where they find some dead bodies in a trunk that have been sitting there for like 6 days in the sun, and they open the trunk and its all juicy and stuff and they were like "its just like a crock pot!"
so they send it back to the crime lab and make greg process it, and he's digging in the trunk trying to find a plug to drain the trunk, he finds it and pulls it, and his arm comes up and his mouth is open and that nasty gunk goes in his mouth and I think its sara with him and she's like "that counts as cannibalism, grissom would be proud." and he's like "grissom would have tasted it on purpose."
anyway, it made me laugh hard and think of this.

Were there carrots and celery and potatoes in there? I would've added some onion with salt and pepper. Ummm!!
