I think what really 'gets' me is the kids in the first pic. Out of tons of pics I've seen on this site, most people are looking in curiosity or apathy. These 3 kids in the first pic look /sad/. I doubt it was a family member. The lil one seems to be looking up at the police officer as if to say 'why did this happen? Will she wake up?" and then you notice the little chalk at his feet and wonder if he was out playing and drawing when it happened. :( Sometimes a touch of humanity hits. |
