Girl and Boyfriend Murder Her Mother and Flee
Not much story here. Girl was dating an ex-con who had recently been released. Some sort of conflict ensued between him and the girl's mother, the end result of which was the mom being chopped up with a "machete" (generic term used by Brazilian press for any edged weapon longer than a kitchen knife).
