Girl Abducted in Venturosa, Brazil; Found Dead With Throat Cut March 27, 2017
A girl was abducted at knifepoint beside her mother in the Mutirão neighborhood of Venturosa, Pernambuco, on the night of March 26, 2017. Two men had gotten out of a car before taking her. Her body was found the following morning in a vacant lot with stab wounds and her throat cut. Published accounts gave her age as 13 or 14. Police arrested Jociel Pantaleão da Silva, 19, and a 17-year-old suspect. Investigators said the girl was targeted for her cellphone and killed so that she could not identify her attackers. A possible sexual assault remained under investigation pending forensic testing and was not established.  ·  · |

Some cell phones are to die for! My cell phone is a Wesson Valor 45 and anyone that tries to steal it will be making a collect call to hell! That girl needed to give up that phone as hard as it was for her and live to fight another day.  |
