An accident occurred on Tuesday morning, (27) at a petrol station in Campo do Santana. An employee of the station was crushed between two trucks. He couldn't resist the wounds and died instantly.

The station is located on the BR-116, close to the border between Campo do Santana and Fazenda Rio Grande. The accident happened when the man changed the oil from one of the trucks. There was another truck without a driver, but ended up moving to the victim and pushing the worker.

There is still no information about how the accident occurred, if the vehicle had a mechanical failure or if the truck's handbrake was dropped.

The case will be investigated by the civilian police and the person responsible for the truck may be penally liable for homicide if it proves that the fault was not his, even if it was caused by negligence.
