A gas leak at a coffee farm caused the death of the worker Valdinei Jesus Costa, 36, on the morning of 21st April.
The accident on the Farm Piracicaba happened when a worker fell into a ditch six feet from the lift. He died immediately from suffocation.
The owner of the farm reported that the worker wore protective equipment.
Valdinei - who worked at the site for five years, leaves a wife and children.
