Re: Gardener Impaled On Fence Falling Off Ladder
aha nah shes fine, she lives in Coventry in the UK, this was actually on a tv show over here called "Bizzare ER" and the story goes that she was gardening one day and saw the branches in her garden tree needed clipped, so as usual she put up the step-ladder and clambered up, unluckily for her she was wearing sandals, she slipped a bit, lost her footing and went over with a sickening thud, as the dust settled she tried to move but found she was stuck, she ACTUALLY thought that she had caught her dress on the railing but had a shock when she used her hand to try to free her dress and felt 2 spikes impaling her, police and fire crews arrived after her neighbour heard her calls for help and eventually the fire crew cut off the part of the fence you can see in the picture below.  the hospital doctors tried to fit her in a machine to scan her body to see if the spikes were hitting any major arteries but they couldnt fit her and the piece of fence in so they had no choice but to operate anyway, luckily for her though, the fence had not damaged anything inside her and when the doctors pulled gently on the fence.. as easy as the spikes went in, the spiked ends of the fence slid out. there ya go :) *Yay for tv  *Edit: If you wish to see the episode in which this woman was featured, click to watch ( available for 6 more hours sadly :( ) http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode...s_3_Episode_3/ |
