Gang Shot Dead by Police
On the morning of 2nd February 2017 in Maragogipe, police eliminated a gang of drug traffickers + bank robbers The following were ceased: Two 9mm submachine guns, two 12-gauge shotguns, a 45-gauge pistol, a nine-millimeter pistol and three chargers, a .38 caliber revolver, a revolver caliber 22, in addition to approximately 5 thousand crack stones, 5 thousand pins of cocaine, 34 tablets of marijuana and R $ 4,710.                   |

And, quite possibly, the cops just put a rival gang out of business. In some of these places the main difference between the police and the other gangs is that the former get their equipment paid for via public funding.
