This classy broad, well-known in her area of Brazil, had a reputation among both criminals and police as being a headstrong and half-crazy daredevil, operating heedless of risks or endangerment. She had a lengthy charge sheet and was suspected of involvement in dozens of drug-related crimes as well as more than twenty (!!) murders.

When Polícia Militar arrived last night at a party she was attending and started rounding up criminals, she spit in their faces, insulted them, and then fled on the back of a motorcycle.

When she was seen an hour or so later, still on the bike, the PMs ordered her from inside their car to dismount the cycle and submit to arrest. She decided, instead, to try to Chow Yun Fat her way out of the situation by opening fire on the police. A brassy move indeed, if she'd had the skills and luck to back it up.

She managed to hit two of the PMs (both survived due to bullet proof vests) through the windscreen before being shot off the back of the bike herself. She was hit three times and died in very short order. The motorcycle driver fled and left her twitching and bleeding out in the street.

Social media has been cheering her death, as she was a notorious criminal and reviled by both citizens and the police. These rather unflattering morgue photos of her were circulated almost immediately, probably by some gleeful morgue attendant who was pleased that her death got so much attention.

She looks pretty rough in the pics, plus she's clearly pissed her pants and she's wearing a shower cap. Hardly the legacy I suspect she wanted to leave behind, but the city is happy she's off the streets.
